Ok, it is still May, and there isn't too much to talk about right now except hype and speculation. And this defense still has to prove their worth on the field. No teal koolaid, and not putting the cart before the horse. But, if this defense can live up to it's anticipation and hype, then nicknames will and must come.


So, this is a thread about possible defense nicknames. We had the "dreaded D" years ago. If the talent, speed, pass rush, length of defenders, etc can make a difference this season, then we should be expecting a high amount of turnovers. If that's the case, I like "Den of Thieves".

I had chose Den of Thieves because large cats have a den, and would be stealing the ball from other teams. But I don't particularly care for the connotation associated with Den of Thieves.
