A nice article about the defense

One piece that stood out to me is this paragraph: "One thing that has changed drastically, though, is the personnel. Of the 32 players that stepped on the field for the Jaguars defense in 2012, only three remain with the team: linebacker Paul Posluszny and defensive linemen Ryan Davis and Tyson Alualu. The other 29 are all gone. Some, like Brandon Marshall, Terrance Knighton, Darryl Smith, and C.J. Mosley, are thriving to different extents elsewhere. Others are out of the league altogether" That is some serious turnover on the defensive side of the roster. It has been argued time and again about who Dave should have kept (Smith, Marshall, Knighton have particularly been discussed more than enough) so please don't make this thread about that. The past few offseasons, the offense has been the focus and we have seen a significant improvement there. Now the focus has shifted and watching the defense grow is going to be fun. This team is ready, Jags fans. This team is ready to take that next step and it is going to be fun to watch. Nobody knows how well this defense will improve with the new pieces and some of them being very young but I LOVE the amount of athleticism and speed Caldwell has brought in on defense. What an exciting offseason so far and week 1 feels too far away! We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Just look at the Defense last year, vs the Defense this year. We've added Tashaun Gipson, Myles Jack, Jalen Ramsey, Malik Jackson, and Dante Fowler. That makes our defense look a LOT different than last year.
I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

Quote:CJ Mosely was never a jag. Drafted by the Ravens. Fail. New to the team?
Quote:Nope, click the link in the article. They got the CJ Mosely's mixed up. Our C.J. Mosely was drafted in 2005 by the Minnesota Vikings and signed with the Jags in 2010. He's currently a free agent.
