I'd really like to see Jack get it after the way things played out for him. He's gonna need more than a couple of sacks and more than a couple of INTs though I think. Gonna be tough.

This usually goes to defensive line or linebacker, so that eliminates Ramsey and Hargreaves unless they have some Josh Norman or Richard Sherman type incident.   Usually edge-rushers don't shine in first year either, so no Bosa.   I'll go with Buckner just because it's not uncommon for a DT to come in and make an immediate impact.  It would be awesome if it's Jack.  Luke Kuechly won with 1 sack, 2 INT, and no forced fumbles, so it's possible.   Jack may be used more as a pass rusher.

It might be Myles Jack but my money is Jalen Ramsey.  Watch the video of him arriving at the stadium in Jacksonville in a tux.  He is ready to go!

Look as Deion Sanders said everything he does he expects to be excellent, well Deion Sanders isn't the kind of a guy to give such high praise to Jalen Ramsey if he didn't feel the guy deserves it.

Whether Jalen Ramsey ever has as close of an amazing career as Deion Sanders did at corner will have to wait to find out, but one thing is for sure he's going to give it 100% on day 1 & that is all you can really ask.

We have a shot at 2 guys winning it. My money is on Myles Jack.

Of course Ramsey could end up with 4 picks and 1 TD and win it.

Nah. Landed at the best place for him. He will flourish under Arians just like Mathieu.

Mathieu balled out every single game though.

And Mathieu doesn't have rich parents.

I think he's just immature more than anything. His brother could be a problem down the line though.

Sure. But no one else in the first round (minus his own teammate) seems to be that immature.... And they don't have the parents he had.

I'm just saying, he has the biggest bust (and boom) potential.

Yeah he does. Hence why I have him pegged for rookie of the year. I think he'll go boom with the Cards.

I voted for Other. And my choice is Darron Lee. OLB from OSU now playing for the New York Jets. He's a talented athlete. He's essentially a Telvin Smith type OLB but he's coming off of a more impressive collegiate career. Watched him in quite a few games. He's just quick and fast and can make plays all over the place. Obviously he was eating up Alabama in that Sugar Bowl game. He's still young too. Only 21. And he's going to a New York Jet's defense that was already stout to begin with. Giving him guys up front to eat up blockers will free him up make the plays he needs to make. I think he's going to be a good one early and often for the Jets.
