Right, in fact Caldwell said that if they are offered to trade down like beyond the first 10 picks the team who wants to trade up need to contact them well before the draft starts as they are not trading down when they are almost on the clock as they need to evaluate calmly the situation.

While a trade down to 7-8-9-10 can be done almost on the clock as it's easier to assess the scenarios.

 

However personally for a trade down, any trade down, I'd need at least a 2nd rounder this year thrown in or I'm staying put.

  One possibility that comes to mind is the Jaguars trade down a few spots during the draft and then they decide to trade down a few more spots after getting another good offer.    So much depends on the Jaguars draft board.    The more top heavy their draft board is,  the less likely they will end up leaving the top 10 or 11.

I have to agree, but crazier things have happened. I think the Dolphins think that they're ready to win now and would love Zeke before he gets to Baltimore at 6.

  Contingency offers are definitely possible.    It wouldn't surprise me if the Jaguars spoke to every team outside the AFC South at least once in the last week.

  At least one of those 3 players should be available at # 13.   Based on my current projection,   all 3 will be there.   With Shaq Lawson going to Miami with pick # 13.
