I like Chris Burke's Draft Scenario

#1

Jags trade 4th pick and 187 to Browns for 12, 33, 175. Burke has Jags taking Jonathan Allen (DE) with 12th pick. What do you think?

I don't think Allen is there at 12.

Although making this trade and getting say Howard/Robinson/Cook at 12 and then having 2 2nds would be an awesome scenario.

I think the Jags should get more in this trade. At least their 3rd rounder, also.

Why does Cleveland need to go from 12 to 4 for Mitch Trubisky?

To get him over the jests? Then they trade with TN and save some value.

To get ahead of San Diego maybe?

IDK... I'm not seeing it.

I think they can get 1 of 2 "top" QBs at 12

I don't see anyone moving to #4 for Trubisky.  Even the browns.

If there's any team out there that would trade up to #4 for Trubisky, it would be the brownies..

I'm always a little curious, in these mock drafts, what players are still on the board at the end of the first round?   I know I could figure it out, but I'm too lazy.  I wish the writers would end the first round with a "best players still available" list.

In this scenario, whom do we pick at 33?

This particular board leaves (OP) leaves:

Moreau,  Mahomes,  Engram, and Ryan Ramczyk on the board for the top of the second.

(edit: and Feeney -- who incidentally is still being mocked in the early second by a handful of boards out there.)

I'd think Feeney or Ramczyk would be the Jags next pick in this scenario.

I would need #12, #33 and #65

My Draft:

#12 - O.J Howard (TE)

#33 - F. Lamp (G)

#35 - A. Kamara (RB)

#65 - A. Garcia (OT)

#68 - J. Mixon (RB)

#110 - J. Butt (TE)

#148 - B. Kaaya (QB)

LOVE THEM JAGUARS!

Howard went to Car. at 8 and Lamp went to Mia at 22

Agreed. If anyone is moving to 4 it's to take Fournette since that's our most likely pick right now. Carolina makes the most sense for a trade partner.
IT WAS ALWAYS THE JAGS

This would be a great draft, except for Mixon. Unfortunately, Lamp will be taken by pick 25.

Indeed this would be a best case type of scenario.

#35 is too early for Moreau, but I'm loving the other names.... especially Engram and Mahomes.
