Lots of people gonna hate this lol.  But I could see it and we would finally have our true number 1 corner.  Would rather Jack but wouldnt hate to finally get our true number 1 corner since Mathis in his prime.

At this point on D we need playmakers at any position, I wouldn't be upset with this pick. I like VHIII's attitude in interviews. Of course I'd prefer Jack, but I think I might like VHIII over Bosa even. Bosa seems to sketchy to me.

Taking him over Myles Jack would be foolish

VH3 is not a fit.

Vh3 is going to be a good DB. Biggest issue with him IMO is his tackling but that's not a huge concern. That said give me Jack.

And based off our scheme I think Jackson may be a better fit.

It would continue Dave's streak of taking the 4th or 5th best player still left on the board with our first round pick.

Because your opinions have been so spot on in the past.

Exactly, I was a fan of Dion Jordan in 2013 (I still think he would have been good if he didn't have major work ethic/drug problems that you can't exactly scout)...but other than that my wish lists for the Jags 1st rounders have been pretty darn spot on.

In before the "but Beasley sucked last year" before realizing Beasley was actually pretty darn good last year.

better than taking the 7th or 8th or a player that should be a 3rd or 4th round pick like you wanted the last couple of years

If we did a redraft Teddy would probably go in the 3rd or 4th round and Beasley wouldnt even be a top 10 pick.  The jury is still out on Fowler after the injury.

I actually laughed out loud at this.

Did PFF tell you to do it, or did you manage it on your own?

Dont really see anything funny about it but ok.  I liked Beasley coming out last year as well but he isnt the player Fowler is.  He had and average 2nd half of the season at best for a player that was picked in the top 10

He was a rookie defensive end thrust into the premier pass rushing role on his team from day 1.

And average 2nd half? I don't remember the exact number but he was like 10th in the entire NFL in pressures in the 2nd half.

You realize how hard and rare it is for rookie DEs to perform well in rookie seasons right? He performed well above any reasonable expectations for a rookie pass rusher, and far better than Fowler would have done...no doubt in my mind.

I like the pick but only if jack is goes to dallas instead and bosa and VH3 are left.

If the 3 are gone then he'd be a good pick. He's a good player. However, in this mock no way, hopefully we'd take Jack.

In before we actually watch Fowler take a snap.
