<p style="color:rgb(40,40,40);font-family:helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">34. DAL – WR Corey Coleman

<p style="color:rgb(40,40,40);font-family:helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">38. JAC – DE Kevin Dodd

<p style="color:rgb(40,40,40);font-family:helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">*Note: LB Jaylon Smith intentionally left out of mock.  Prisco said many teams he talked to took him off their boards (especially round 1) due to nerve damage in his knee that may not ever heal properly.

<p style="color:rgb(40,40,40);font-family:helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">

<p style="color:rgb(40,40,40);font-family:helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">For the Jags, in this mock my thinking is based on a scenario where Caldwell addresses Free Safety and OC/OG in Free Agency, but not DE(no Malik Jackson, and I think OLB Bruce Irvin ends up in Atlanta), which allows him to draft LB Myles Jack over FS Ramsey.  Despite Ramsey's athletic ability, many are not sold on his NFL future.  On the contrary, almost all agree Jack is a plug-and-play OLB in a 4-3 for the next ten years.  He could also probably take over MLB when Posluszny leaves, or if Irvin is signed to play OLB. In the 2nd, Kevin Dodd falls to us and Caldwell grabs him.

<p style="color:rgb(40,40,40);font-family:helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">

<p style="color:rgb(40,40,40);font-family:helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Defense would be:

<p style="color:rgb(40,40,40);font-family:helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">LDE  K. Dodd/Odrick - NT R. Miller - DT Marks/Odrick - RDE D. Fowler

<p style="color:rgb(40,40,40);font-family:helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">OLB M. Jack (Skuta to start season) - MLB P. Posluszny - OLB T. Smith

<p style="color:rgb(40,40,40);font-family:helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">CB A. Colvin - SS J. Cyprien - FS E. Weddle? - CB J. House/ or FA  (secondary still needs upgrade, but better pass rush will help)

<p style="color:rgb(40,40,40);font-family:helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">

<p style="color:rgb(40,40,40);font-family:helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">*New Starters in bold

Thats fine but i feel like even mid tier FAs on Defense would upgrade some positions so i can see a few other scenarios draft wise as well.  I just cant see only 2 offensive players and 1 Defensive player in FA this year so thats why im on the fence.

There could and will be other mid-tier guys on defense picked up.   And in my scenario it is just a Center OR an OG picked up in Free Agency, not multiple offensive players.  Either Alex Mack to play Center, or OG Jeff Allen and Cann moves to Center.

I forgot to mention that in the actual draft, I don't think RB Ezekiel Elliott lasts till #22 to Houston.  I think somebody trades up and grabs him in the 11-15 range, just don't know who.  Probably the Jets if Chris Ivory leaves them.

First trade could come at #4 with Miami being a player for Ramsey if San Diego does not take him.

1. TEN - OT L. Tunsil

2. CLE - QB Wentz/Goff

3. S.D. - OT R. Stanley

4. MIA - FS J. Ramsey (from DAL)

5. JAC - DE Bosa

6. BAL - LB M. Jack

7. S.F. - QB Goff/Wentz

8. DAL - RB Elliott (from MIA)

Updated after today's news of DeMarco Murray being dealt to the Titans, and Ryan Matthews being heavily shopped around the league.

I think Philly is now a perfect landing spot for RB Ezekiel Elliott.

However, if Lamar Miller leaves Miami via free agency, I could definitely see the Dolphins grabbing Elliott ahead of Philly (Dolphins acquired CB Byron Maxwell today via trade, so not as big a need for CB there now).

If TB looses Martin they could also be in the running for Elliott. Can't count out the Giants as well.

True.  Forgot about Tampa possibly losing Doug Martin.  I wonder if Phily will pursue Martin in FA.  I could see him or playing there for some reason.

I've seen Elliott mocked to the Giants a few times, but I'm not buying that one.  Giants have a much bigger need at DE, and that is more of a premium position.

Moved Derrick Henry to the Texans, instead of Cowboys in the 2nd.  Not going to like facing him twice a year.  Yikes!

This caused Dallas to take Corey Coleman in the 2nd, and some other changes.

If LB Jaylon Smith is still there in the 2nd for the Jags, I wonder if Caldwell pulls the trigger.
