Name The 5 Holes You Want To See The Jags Fill This Offseason.

#1

Straightforward question.

1. Safety - Both positions

2. Pass Rush - Should be #1, but don't know about Fowler or Marks.

3. LB - Find the heir apparent ILB and depth across the board here.

4. O-line - Depending on how they envision the current players, the actual positions are hard to say, ie: center vs guard. Also, if a good tackle falls in mid rounds, why not.

5. RB - This could have gone to a couple positions, but depth and quality need to be addressed here.

What lies behind us, and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.

1. LBs

For some reason LBs have been devalued in the NFL; or so is the perception of the general public.

The Broncos have Von Miller & Demarcus Ware listed as LBs on their depth chart

The Seahawks have Bruce Irvin and Bobby Wagner listed as LBs on their dept chart.

The Steelers & Ravens used to wreak havoc with the likes of James Harrison & Ray Lewis throughout the early 2000's.

Good LBs add such a different dimension to defensive schemes.  If you really think about it, we really haven't had 2 game changing LBs on the field in quite a long time.  We're pretty much gone from Mike Peterson to Daryl Smith to Poz, to Telvin.    Time to build a solid core of LBs around Telvin.

2. Safety -- can we finally get someone that flies around the field nailing people OR a ball hawking safety.

Pass Rush  (someone to rotate at LEO w/Fowler + a DT to spell Marks at 3T that disrupts)

FS

OG/C  (either, depending on shifting Linder or Cann inside)

CB2

LB

1. DE ...a rotational LEO and to pair opposite of Fowler in the lightning package.

2. FS ...need a ballhawk in center field.

3. OC ...need to make the run a strength again to assist Blake.

4. LB ...need speed to partner with Telvin.

5. LT ...my eyes want an upgrade to the Joke, although I know it won't happen this year.
