Chiefs fans love the guy. He's 26 years old.

I'm down. If this happens, does Linder move to Center or Cann? I know the talk is Cann, but didn't Linder play some of C too? I just don't know if Cann is the player for C. Just me though.

GO JAGS!!

Would be nice, but as long as there's hope for Osemele I'd prioritize him first. Although it will be extremely difficult becuase of competition and teams possibly giving him tackle money.

I like Osemele, but why pay $50M in guarantees when you can pay $12-15M in guarantees and get similar production? I read earlier that Allen was arguably their best OL last season.

Looks like the cheaper route.

Allen has only played 1 good year though, tore his Achilles the year before and apparently wasn't very good his rookie year. That's stuff is all ok because his good year was this last one

Osemele isn't going to get near that much in guarantees.

Every time I mentioned the plethora of quality alternatives to Osemele at guard, I listed Jeff Allen first or second on that list for a reason. He's darn good. Any of literally 10 FA guards would be huge upgrades if the Cann or Linder to C experiment works out.

It was an hyperbole, although it wouldn't surprise me if Osemele got $30-35M in guarantees, especially if teams view him as a LT. Rodney Hudson got $20M in guarantees last year and plays the C position.

You may be talking about the wrong guy there. He missed most of 2014 due to an elbow injury and missed four games last season because of an MCL injury.

I'd rather have Incognito. He plays nasty, something this line needs.

I wouldn't be averse to him as a stopgap for a year or two, but Richie is seven years older than Jeff Allen.

terrible

Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."

Well, we do need some bullies on the offensive line.
