Your ideal offseason
|
List the FA and draft acquisitions that would make this offseason great for you.
Free Agents: Olivier Vernon DE Malik Jackson DE/DT Bruce Irvin OLB/DE Sean Smith CB Kelechi Osemele OG Draft: 5. Jalen Ramsey DB 38. Jonathan Bullard DE/DT 69. Austin Johnson NT 100. Jonathan Williams RB 154. Sean Davis CB "A man with no sauce is lost.

Free Agents:
Olivier Vernon Janoris Jenkins (Johnson likely tagged) Kelechi Osemele Danny Trevathan Reggie Nelson Draft: Ramsey/Bosa/Jack (Ramsey likely gone imo) Jaylon Smith (trade up, I can live w/him missing 2016) I wouldn't mind Derrick Henry either Sebastian Tretola (if Osemele isn't signed)
FA: Osemele, Vernon, Jackson, Sean Smith, Danny Trevathan.
Draft: Jack, Joseph, Nicolas, Shell, Green, Ochi, Morrison
Shock the world
Here is some wishful thinking in terms of the draft.
FA: Irvin, Mack, oliver Vernon Draft Rd 1: Ramsey Rd 2: mackensie Alexander (via trading up or whatever happens) Rd 3: nkemdiche, I take the flyer on him for the tremendous talent at this point if he is there.
Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."
FA: Osemele ,Danny Trevethan ,Jaye Howard, Vernon
Draft: R1- Myles Jack R2- Karl Joseph R3- Sheldon Day R4- Eric Murray Badabing badaboom We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
An attempt at doing this somewhat realistically:
FA: Olivier Vernon. Kelechi Osemele, and three or four mid-tier guys. * DRAFT: rd1 - Bosa, Jack or Ramsey rd2 - Ogbah, Apple, or best DT available on board rd3 - Artie Burns, Kyler Fackrell, Kaufusi, Sean Davis (FS) , or Josh Garnett rd4 - Houston Carson, Maliek Collins, Spencer Drango or Jordan Jenkins if he falls that far *drafted player selection/choices depend on FA and previous round selections - guys listed are the ones I expect to actually be there or to be narrowly missed
FA:
1. Olivier Vernon LEO 2. Eric Weddle FS 3. Sean Smith CB 4. Alex Mack C Draft: 1. Myles Jack LB 2. Jon Bullard DE/DT 3. Jalen Mills FS 4. Paul Perkins RB
I'd be very happy with pretty much all of the above. My selections are based on trying to be somewhat realistic on free agency (based on how much Caldwell will spend and who wants to come here).
Free agents: Osemele Weddle Vernon Draft: 1. Myles Jack 2. Kendall Fuller/William Jackson 3. Austin Johnson 4. DeAndre Houston-Carson 5.John Theus 6. Aaron Green and Victor Ochi 7. Alex McCallister Rationale: 1. Weddle brings experience and reliability to take secondary to the next level. Houston-Carson will be groomed to eventually take his place. 2. Osemele makes whole team better. An offense that can run effectively helps the defense significantly. Also a backup at left tackle. 3. Jack has as much upside as any player in the draft. He and Smith would be fun to watch at linebacker with Poz in the middle for at least one more year. 4. Vernon may not make it to free agency, but he and Fowler would provide much needed pass rush. I like Malik Jackson more, but Vernon is better at pressuring the quarterback. Defensive tackle is strongest position in the draft and Austin Johnson immediately goes into the defensive tackle rotation. 5. Aaron Green would be a good change of pace back. Can't see paying big money for free agent. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

Sean Smith Bruce Irvin or oliver vernon Malik Jackson Jeff Allen jenoris Jenkins always thought he was the next reshean Mathis an he's a play maker I hope he's a our main cb target in fa
I wouldn't mind resigning Reggie Nelson also to tell u the truth I always hated we traded him for a lowly 6th or 7th him paired with cup I think would b e dope an get hargreaves or bosa but Idk well see super excited this wait is killer lol
Free Agency:1) Olivier Vernon 2.)Tayshaun Gipson and or Sean Smith
Draft-1st round Jalen Ramsey or Myles Jack Focus on playmakers and improve the overall speed of the team.
Respect the game. Play with a sense of urgency.
1.) Take care of the ball. Win the turnover battle. 2.) It's all about 3rd down. Win on 3rd down to win the game. 3.) Playmakers make plays. The only reason that you put your uniform on is to make plays. In order to EARN your paycheck, you must make plays. Learn from the great collapse of 2023.
FA: Vernon, Irvin, Jenkins, Gipson, Trevethan or Osemele
Draft: 1st Spence or Jack (Depending on FAs) Rd 2 Ogbah Rd 3 Jaylon Smith Rd 6 Aguayo
IT WAS ALWAYS THE JAGS

I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.
Stop saying whatever stupid thing you're talking about and pay attention to all the interesting things I have to say! |
