Eugene Monroe

#1

One thing I have read is that the Ravens are considering cutting Eugene Monroe. I know there were some on this board that were outraged that we traded him. I was not one of them, and believed that Dave made the right call. Still, from what I have read injuries were a big part of Monroe's under-performing in Baltimore. If we could get him back at a bargain price, would you want to?

For depth at the right price I'd love to.

I'd rather get a younger, developmental player for depth.

I doubt he'd come back, tbqh.

I always got the feeling Dave traded him because he knew Monroe didn't want to resign here.

They traded him away. The same GM won't reverse that and bring him back. Monroe will land on another team. It won't be this one.

I think there's some validity to that mindset. I think they knew that if he stayed here, he'd be playing RT long term, and he wasn't going to take the pay cut to change positions. He wanted LT money, and that wasn't going to happen here.
