Noah Spence and Darian Thompson should be our 1st two picks

Without question I think. Ok maybe Spence but still can you imagine him and Fowler wrecking havoc?

San Diego and Dallas will now also be looking at Spence. Thompson is not lasting to our second round pick.

What Spence's emergence assures us though is a chance to get an elite talent at 5. We will definitely be able to get one of Spence, Jack, or Ramsey.

NFL draft analysts still are not calling Noah Spence elite or a top 5 talent. They continue to put Joey Bosa in that category. Top 10? Maybe, if his drug problems don't scare off the first five teams after us. But that is a big if.

I'm a tad bit questionable about Thompson. I love the production in college. I believe he has 18 career interceptions. I'm just skeptical about the sideline to sideline speed and ability to fly into the box for a tackle. He definitely belongs in the NFL, but for OUR free safety position, we need that missile like guy roaming center field (like an Earl Thomas).

It's why I'm really high on Karl Joseph. Dude flies and lays the wood.

Noah Spence in round 1 and Karl Joseph in round 2 would be an incredible draft.

That's because right now they are simply following each other. Things will start to change after this Senior Bowl, the Combine, player interviews, and as we get closer to the draft. I think the boards will change dramatically soon.

Following each other? You might want to read the mock drafts again.

I see a lot of big differences here. One of them is only Lance Zierlein picked Noah Spence to go in the first round.  And his pick for him is #31.

I will be shocked if Spence goes in the top 5.

I'll be even more disappointed if it's Jacksonville that selects him there.

End of the first? Good. Second round? Even better. But top 5? Nah.

THERE IS A SKELETON INSIDE OF YOU.

RIGHT NOW. THIS IS NOT A JOKE.

Why do you want the Super Bowl champion to pick him? That means we miss out on a good player who fills a need.

Not bashing you because I respect opinions, but would you care to explain what you don't like about Spence? The man looks dominant.

I think you know that already. He did not interview well when teams asked him about his drug problems. That is going to scare off a lot of teams.

Huge difference, bud. Spence actually has talent for a position that the Jaguars have no talent in.

IMO all the hype on Noah Spence is based on what he did during Senior Bowl week. How much did people talk about him as a dominant player at Ohio State and Eastern Kentucky?

Listen, "bud."

Spence will have a tough time making the first round, much less top 5.  If you don't understand, simply google it.  That will get you started.

In case you missed it, the OP was clamoring for Geno with our first rounder.  Just as wrong then as it is today.  That's the reference since it whooshed you so badly.

That's the knock.  Character matters.

Funny that you and missjaguarsfan agree with each other.

I don't use google to determine what I believe in a prospect. I use my eyes. Spence is a beast. Plus, I bet if you look up Spence on google all you will see is how impressive he has been and that he is absolutely a first round pick, etc.

Projections stink. Justin Houston went 3rd round, 70th overall. If he were in this draft with the known fact that he would be this good, he would be a top 10 pick easily.
