How the hell was Tyrod Taylor ahead of Bortles on the alternates list?

Bortles is currently in a cast for his broken thumb. For all we know Bortles was already skipped over for his injury.

Tyrod Taylor will have as many Pro Bowl appearances as Fred Taylor.  Chew on that...

Taylor is replacing Rivers, who was also an alternate, because he decided not to go. I'm guessing we would have heard if Blake turned down the Pro Bowl.

Also Carson Palmer just announced he's not going to the Pro Bowl, so Blake may still have a shot to be a "ProBowler."

We did not need to hear Blake Bortles turned it down. Carson Palmer and Philip Rivers would have gone in front of him.

Bortles does not deserve the Pro Bowl this season.  If so many people drop out that he becomes an option they should strongly consider cancelling the game.

How about playing the Pro Bowl after the Super Bowl again? More worthy players would be healthy and Cam Newton, who was voted in, would be eligible to play.

I was unaware that you were the official vote counter. Congratulations. That's a big responsibility. Tell me, how far down the list was Yeldon?

No one cares about the Pro Bowl, generally speaking, but even fewer people cared about it when it was held after the Super Bowl.

Tyrod Taylor had a good season. I think he deserves it more than the guy who led the league in turnovers, regardless of how many TDs he had.

THERE IS A SKELETON INSIDE OF YOU.

RIGHT NOW. THIS IS NOT A JOKE.

He led the league in turnovers because his line stink And the running game was non-existent. Despite that he put up good numbers so stop hating on Blake and it's a shame that a game manager gets voted to the Pro Bowl over him.

If you want to talk about a non-existent running game, you are talking about the wrong team. We are not the Patriots. We had a running game, just were not good enough at it because of our offensive line.

You can't blame the offensive line for what the pass catchers did or good defensive plays. Bortles took risks. How many interceptions do you think were caused by the five guys in front of him?

NFL News....

David Garrard is coming out of retirement as he has been asked to play in the Pro Bowl, after all active QBs other than Tyrod Taylor have decline their invitations.
