I don't know about that. An orange tabby I once owned got sent up to the kill shelter for shooting up a convenience store during a robbery. It was revealed during his trial that he'd fallen in with a gang of alley cats and was freebasing catnip. They were funding their habit through robbery and street sales of Meow Mix stolen off delivery trucks.

I knew he would be a no-good feline from the time he was adopted after I discovered his father was doing hard time in the pound for, you guessed it, cat burglary.
