If it really does exist, it would literally rewrite everything.

We've known about Pluto for ages.

Who says that?

Anyone who uses the phrase "it's settled science"... and "the debate is over"...

You're generalizing. It's settled.

It is settled. The scientific definition of a planet changed what to call Pluto.

(This post was last modified: 01-23-2016, 01:05 PM by badger.)

Ancient civilizations already knew about this planet.  Sumerians called it Nibiru.  Mayans knew about it.  Babylon knew about it.  There could also be many other large planets that have huge elliptical orbits.

This isn't a new discovery.  It's simply now just being confirmed in the mainstream media.  Until now they have ignored it for whatever reason. It's getting too close to Earth now to pretend it doesn't exist so, "WOW NEW DISCOVERY."

Dwarf planets are as equally capable as regular sized planets

What is your point? Planets and dwarf planets are not the same thing.

You've clearly offended the Plutarians with your hate speech. You should denounce yourself, grovel to the press, and make a sizeable donation to the National Association for the Advancement of Girth Challenge Celestial Bodies to rectify this situation.
