Shrine Game Practice Reports
|
This is one of deepest drafts in a long time, and you can really see that by some of the quality talent on the Shrine game and NFLPA bowl. I think we can get a couple quality starters in the mid to late rounds, so I've scouring reports like this to read who is doing well.
Who do you guys like in the East West Shrine game? One guy I like for us is Justin Simmons, a FS prospect from Boston College. Think he could fit in really well in say Round 3. Interesting prospect - but many seem to see him as a 7th rounder or UDFA. Will have to see where he ends up on boards after the shrine game and combine. Quote:
Upright and tight aren't words you want to hear for a DB. Hopefully it's more of a technique issue that can be coached up.

It was nice reading that Fahn Cooper, OG/T out of Mississippi, was having a nice showing. I'd like to find a later round versatile OL right-side prospect to replace Sam Young.

I've heard good things about Cooper. Excited to watch him. Quote:I like Sudfeld in the 7th round to become Blakes backup. Sean Mannion went in Round 3 last year, and I think Sudfeld is MUCH better. Was a Day 3 guy up until recently. Quote:Upright and tight aren't words you want to hear for a DB. Hopefully it's more of a technique issue that can be coached up. He seems stiff for a CB, but hopefully it shouldn't be as bad if he's a S. |
