Really enjoyed his stuff too (Eagles, Solo, Miami Vice).

I had no idea he was ill. According to CNN, cause of death was "rheumatoid arthritis, acute ulcerative colitis and pneumonia". Poor guy had to have it rough with rheumatoid arthritis and acute ulcerative colitis. Very unpleasant and painful conditions.

Sounds like he had a long battle with illness.  RIP.

 

If you haven't seen it already, you must see the Eagles documentary (two part.)  Animosity for sure, but what they were able to collaborate to produce in such a relatively short period of time.

Well, it looks like God got the drummer for his band now. Can't wait for their album to drop.

I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.

John Bonham been there for a while now, teaming with Keith Moon. Don't think Frey can compete with them while strumming his guitar.


Well...that's three. Lemmy, Bowie and now Frey.
