Latest Jaguars Mock Draft

Here is the latest Mock Jags Mock draft.  I like the first 2 picks and an OL in the 3rd.  Sounds like a solid draft if it happens

I saw it today as well and I liked it. JR is a stud!!!! Bullard will rise to the first round. If he is there when we pick with the second pick i would actually consider it a steal. Bullard stood out to me more than anyone else on that defense this past year.

LOVE THEM JAGUARS!

If you put in Jalen Ramsey's name into google all the articles that come up are Jaguars related. Is this the most telegraphed pick at 5 ever? It seems a foregone conclusion before January is even out.

Which makes me think he won't be the pick.

I saw Hacker talk about that today. imo it's silly to think a player won't be the pick just because it seems too obvious. Free agency will be very telling. Two years ago it should have been clear we would take a QB with the 3rd pick based on what we did in free agency, and Bortles had the most upside and was the best long-term prospect. A year ago it was obvious we were going with an edge rusher and Fowler was the most complete and well rounded and was the consensus top rusher among the most respected internet scouts. This year, if we don't get a free safety while addressing pass rush in free agency, Ramsey should very obviously be the pick if he's there. He fits everything they look for in a player for this team, he is the prototype for the type of DBs they like, he played at Florida and Dave clearly has a preference for homegrown guys, he is the consensus top player at his position which may turn out to be our number 1 need heading into the draft depending on FA. He fits the pattern of Dave's picks and we are in a the perfect spot to get him.

I love it! Top to bottom would be a solid overall draft.

The Ramsey to Jags feels about as obvious as the Reggie Nelson to the Jags a few years back.

I like it.   I especially liked taking a guard in the 3rd round.   The writer is right on point when he says we can slide Cann to Center and have a much better running game.   In mmy opinion, if we insist on sticking with Luke Joeckel, strengthening the interior 3 will help him immensely by giving us the threat of running the ball inside.   Successfully running the ball inside will lead to fewer 3rd and long situations where JJ Watt just flattens LJ.

Bucky Brooks has us picking Jalen Ramsey. That would be fine with me, but of course I hope Bucky is wrong about the Cowboys picking Joey Bosa.
