Hopkins basically trashes his father..

"I told A.J., if he goes to (the Jaguars) then he better be the dude guarding me on third down instead of (cornerback) Jalen (Ramsey), because he couldn't get the job done," Hopkins said, per Alex Del Barrio of SportsRadio 610 in Houston. "... I love A.J., but hopefully he's the one guarding me on third down to win the game next year for those guys. They might have a better chance."

Lol does he forget when Jalen stopped him from moving 1 yard forward in open field for a stop on 3rd? Or the fact that he held him to 48 yards?

Jalen need to discipline your son.

This is being discussed in another thread...

Perhaps by getting the job done he meant er maybe winning the game? But yeah stats matter to those that can't win

Amazing how 20 somethings tweeting in the off season turns into news. #NFLPower
Success is a journey, not a destination.  Go all out Mighty Jaguars.

Jalen and him were going back and forth last night. Was pretty hilarious. Hopkins ended up deleting his tweets though.

I love it. Jalen will have a lot of games this year to prove himself in 2017. He'll have A.J Green, Antonio Brown, DeAndre Hopkins twice, T.Y Hilton twice and Larry Fitzgerald.

i mean jalen shut him down so clearly bouyee doing the same thing wouldn't have won us that game, and Hopkins had nothing to do with them winning.

It must be sad to be that stupid. Not only would Ramsey make all 32 rosters, he'd likely be starting on at least 24 of them.

Push Offkins went

8/17, 87 Yards, 0 TD's, Only 40 were against Jalen

5/13, 48 Yards, 0 TD's, Was locked up all game except for one crucial catch in the 4th.

Dude got locked up each game, just ends up catching a few eventually. He knows he's wrong, that's why he removed it.

Doesnt this read as he hopes Bouye is covering him, because if it was Jalen he wouldn't make as good progress?

As in, Bouye isn't quite the player Jalen is, therefore he's complimenting Jalen somewhat?..

Ramsey>>>Hopkins.

We know it, Ramsey knows it, Hopkins knows it.

Hop better get his shots in now at a sort-of-still-rookie, cus once Jalen's been in the league as long as Hop has, Deandre is gonna want to get as far away from the AFC South as possible.

Ramsey is something special. He should only continue to improve. It's rare you ever find a CB that's not only solid in pass coverage but also solid in coming up on an underneath route or a running back and laying the wood on someone. That's what really stood out to me. He's fast, physical and explosive and above all, fearless.

He'll get along with veterans like Church and Campbell on this defense now. That's what we've been lacking. It's great that we have a lot of young talent flying around but we need more veterans like Posluszny on this team to help settle them in and down when the game gets tough or the mental aspect of it becomes overbearing at times.

I really think we could be on the verge of seeing a defensive performance in 2017 that could rival the 2006 team defense. Where we saw more splash plays in the secondary and just straight dominance of any running attack geared towards us. It certainly has that feel because they're looking to build this offense around the ground game again. More time out on the field for us offensively just means fresher guys on defense for us.

Should nickname him Jail'n Ramsey if he continues to play like he did in December last year where he pretty much put fools on lockdown. Hopkins doesn't want to get Jailed again is all.
