One change I would make would be the Lions being ahead of the Saints because the Lions beat them on the road recently.

I thought of that, however, you might notice that at many positions teams are behind a team they beat and ahead of a team the lost to. Often I sort of have to average it out. In the Lions case I had to give consideration to their loss against the Rams in a game where both teams looked bad.

Though the Lions were the 7-9 team that had the strongest strength of schedule in 2015,   a solid case or better can be made that the Rams deserve to be the top ranked 7-9 team.    The Rams beat the Lions and didn't play any of the other teams that finished 7-9.   Both teams were in strong divisions.    Either way,  it sure beats the alternative of being the # 32 ranked team at the midway point of the season.

ABOUT US
The Jungle Forums is the Jaguars' biggest fan message board. Talking about the Jags since 2006, the Jungle was the team-endorsed home of all things Jaguars.

Since 2017, the Jungle is now independent of the team but still run by the same crew. We are here to support and discuss all things Jaguars and all things Duval!
