2015/2016 National Title Game, Clemson vs. Alabama

#1

I like it. A good contrast of a wide open offense against a tough, fast defense. Should be good. Early thoughts? Who do you think is going to take home the trophy?

I'll go with the old saying "defense wins championships"

It's true. I will add this. Clemson's defense is pretty impressive too. They can fly.

I think Clemson may be able to score 10.

Bama will embarrass Clemson just like they did Michigan State (not quite as bad, Clemson will at least score some points around 13). If I were a betting man I definitely wouldn't bet against Nick Saban and his game planning. IMO

I'm going with Bama.

They've been held out of a national title for a few years now (a long time for them lately).

Getting knocked out in the semi-final Sugar Bowl last year probably left a huge, disappointing, sour taste in their mouths.

But, I think it'll probably be a closer game than what most people think though.

These are the types of offenses that Bammer has trouble with.

But i still don't want to make a prediction yet lol

Clemson! As long as Clemson isn't stupid enough to try to run up the middle all night I think they have a good chance. They have the speed to stretch bama's defense horizontally as well as vertically. They've faced some pretty good defenses this year and still put up points. As long as the o-line, which doesn't have a ton of experience, can hold their own against bama's stout d-line, Clemson will shock a lot of people.

It's amazing to me how under valued Clemson has been this year. They are the most complete team in college football. It will be a great match up. Truly a #1 vs #2 in the country championship.

This should be a really good match-up. 2 great defenses and explosive running attacks.

They've been the #1 team in the country for how many weeks? That's under valued?

I agree that I didn't understand where all the love was for Oklahoma prior to their game. They finished strong, but Clemson was consistent.

Alabama has been on a tear since their loss. I think their defense is too big and too fast, but I wouldn't be shocked if Clemson won.

Clemson has the type of QB that gives Alabama fits. Should be interesting.
