LOL...

I missed that.

I think we've done alright from that school. Bobby McCray as a 7th round pick had a double-digit sack season. I don't know why he flamed out after that season, but that year he was impressive as heck with one textbook picture-perfect sack after another.

Josh Evans is also from Florida, and he's currently our starting FS.

This is exactly why I have always preferred sticking with the 4-3 defense. There have been many players who struggled with the switch from DE to OLB after coach changes were made. Aaron Kampman said he chose Jacksonville because we ran the 4-3 and Green Bay switched to the 3-4, Imagine how many other guys have done the same thing.

Just scrap the mimicry of the Seattle East this off season. i don't want to hear about OTTO's or any other failed concepts. This coaching staff needs to make their own way and finally figure out how to put round pegs in round holes.

Why? WIth Fowler now in place we have our LEO, so all Caldwell has to do is find our OTTO. ...along with signing Eric Berry at FS.

We need to be our own thing. We will now have year 4 of hearing about copying this defense. I'm tired of it. We need to set the schemes and plan to fit strengths and not just keep trying so hard to copy something.

Our defense needs a lot more than that to be successful in this scheme. And finding an OTTO won't be easy, unless we get Bruce Irving or Von Miller.

Well, word is Caldwell is going to be signing free agents starting day one. Maybe we'll get news right away that Von Miller and Eric Berry are Jaguars.
