Pass rush. Premier pass rushers are most likely to be found early in the draft. You can often find corners in later rounds that end up being elite players. Also I am in the section of people that believe that a good pass rush will improve the secondary and without a good rush upgrading the secondary will not add much.

I'd get another DE. Branch is a backup at best, Clemons is old and past his best. Fowler and a FA would be sweet.

Get a CB in the draft, Ramsey and Hargreaves look good.

DE. I'm in the group that feels our corners would look exponentially better if they didn't have to cover all day long.

Also not a player, but DC.
IT WAS ALWAYS THE JAGS

I second this......probably in FA since fowler will probably be behind the curve.

And def a new DC,

Because Jaguars is our mantra  Wallbash

I don't care who in the hell they get, or what position it is, as long as they can get to the QB.

This is my thinking as well.

I'd rather get a pass rusher through FA. I would hate to have to lean on two rookies to generate a pass rush.

So, we Jag fans are expected to believe it takes a minimum of 4 years to replace the worthless players/coaches/staff that the previous management left here, and produce a winning season ?

Obtaining more young talent/ experienced free agents will eventually produce a winner here, but in my opinion, the talent will not produce a championship here without an eventual coaching change.

Many of us want to see Gus go, but it doesn't matter what we think. All indications are Khan is going to keep Gus around at least one more year.

Ideally we could find a playmaking pass rusher but really we just need better players across the board on defense.  Telvin Smith is the only real playmaker we have.  Everyone else is replaceable.  When our first round pick is on the clock, if they see a CB that is a playmaker, take him.  If they think the only playmaker is a DT, take him.  If they think the only playmaker is a LB, take him.  Find playmakers.  We have a defense full of solid core guys that you need to fill out a roster.  But we just dont have any real difference makers aside from Telvin.  Whether it be a DE, a DT, a LB, a CB, a S... I dont care.  Ideally it would be a guy who can rush the passer but if we think the next Ed Reed or Troy Polamalu is sitting there in the first round, take him!

I also think the offensive line needs upgrading.  Linder is a lock.  And hopefully Cann improves and will be a lock.  But the two Ts and C are all replaceable.
