The Jacksonville streak breakers

#1

The theme all year is teams coming in struggling and leaving with a victory.  It seems no matter how bad a team has been when they face the Jaguars it's and instant cure.  Just bad overall football.

Bucs, Chargers, and now Falcons. Pathetic.

This is old news though, we've been this way forever.

I've said it many times and it still holds true, the Jaguars are the ultimate "get well" opponent that teams want to face.

Haven't won a home game in more than 10 attempts? The Jaguars can fix that.

Haven't won in more than a month? The Jaguars can fix that.

Can't score more than a FG? The Jaguars can fix that.

Can't stop anyone's offense? The Jaguars can fix that.

Struggling to sack the QB, the Jags can fix it for you. (Atlanta currently dead last in sacks)

Struggling to protect the QB? The Jaguars have the sports psychology plan to start making your offensive linemen feel like the great wall.

It's the jerseys.

So one might say we need to face ourselves.

I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

This is very true. The Jags have been the "get well" game for teams that have been struggling. It has been the case now for a long time. You're absolutely correct.

Remember this season:

Colts were struggling early in the year. They face the Jags, they get the win.

Jets were struggling (a two game losing streak IIRC). In come the Jags, Jets get the win.

Bucs year long home-loss streak? Here come the Jags. Bucs get the win.

Titans year long home-loss streak? Here come the Jags. Tacks get the win.

Texans struggling terribly to begin the year. Go face the Jags. Texans get the win.

Chargers struggling to do anything. Go face the Jags. Chargers get the win.

Falcons,,, ugh. Ditto.

I really hope this is the last year for the Jags being marked on the schedule for a "get well" game. It has to stop sometime. Doesn't it?

The #1 thing you don't have to worry about is whether or not they win the rest of the games cause it does't matter.

Down to your practice squad linemen? No problem, the Jags will make them look like 8 year all-pro's.

Is your defense giving up 150 yards per game rushing? No problem......the Jags will have great difficulty rushing against you.

Do you have a turnover problem.......no problem, you'll play an entire game with no turnovers when you play the Jags.

Are you forced to start a QB who was called up 4 days ago from your practice squad, who suffered a broken throwing wrist 3 weeks ago and had the flu all week? No problemo ! He'll have Player of the Week stats after he plays the Jags.

Season after season after season of this.............blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah...............

Four season tickets become two season tickets next year, and if things don't improve next year? Bye-Bye...........

So you are saying Dr.Gus Bradley can cure all that ails the opposing team?

I survived the Gus Bradley Error.
