Imagine if we had Amari Cooper

#1

Everyone on draft day KNOWS Amari Cooper was the right pick. Yes, our defense sucks but if we had Amari Cooper, we would have the best offense in the NFL for the next 10-15 years. Bad choice.

You can play the "imagine if we had_____" all day, but you would just get depressed.

I wanted Cooper but now with the way our WR are playing Dave made the right pick.  Im confident Fowler will come back 100% and will be our best player on defense

Lol we have the worst pass rush in the NFL and you wanted us to take a WR when we already have a top 10 wr.... I swear this board...
IT WAS ALWAYS THE JAGS

lol, you have hurns and A-Rob and want to continue hoarding WRs without addressing your defense?

I'm basically going to reiterate what mvannostran said...

1. We have the best WR corps in the league

2. We have the worst pass rush in the league

1. We don't need Amari Cooper

2. We absolutely need Dante Fowler

We made the right pick. Amari Cooper would cannibalize Hurns and Robinson's ops and (which is fine since he's good) but we'd still be looking for a pass rusher. The Allen Bros. have 18 TDs. Who even cares anymore about a wide receiver. Cooper isn't better than Allen Robinson and Hurns is barely a notch below

Fowler is a bust. 14 sacks in 3 years at UF. Big deal. Like Clowney, a bust. Like JokeEL a bust. Move on.

Our pass rush is so bad I'd rather roll the dice on Fowler being ready next year than having Amari Cooper.

Looks like you might be the only one that feels this way lol. If Fowler comes back to 100% and plays to his potential he could help this team out much more than any WR

Granted,  Amari Cooper has had a good rookie season.   But at least in the present,  a good CB  ( Darius Slay )  was able to basically shutdown Amari Cooper a few weeks ago.   Cooper also dropped a couple of passes that would have made his stats look a little better that day.   The player on the Raiders that really impressed me that day wasn't Cooper.   It was DE Khalil Mack.   If Dante Fowler Jr.  even comes to close to provide the impact that Mack brings to the table with the Raiders,  at the position which is the Jags greatest need ( w/o Fowler ),   the value of Fowler will exceed what Cooper could have provided the team.

Nah, man. Fowler is one of the best rushers ive seen in orange and Blue. I couldn't care less what the stats were, he was in the backfield as a disruptive force alllllll the time. Good in run support, too. He was a cheat code for UF. Also, he was playing the DT position his freshmen year, buried behind Easley and Shariff Floyd (first rounders) and when he played D-End, Ronald Powell

Amen.

Hurns=Cooper

Hurns: 48 rec, 7 TDs, 758 yards

Cooper: 62 rec, 4 TDs, 920 yards

Hurns has missed a game and is the number 2 receiver.

Pass rush: still inept

Oh yay, this game... I got a better one...

Imagine if we took Ziggy Ansah instead of Joeckel in 2013.

Yup, and if we hadn't drafted Alualu then who would've caught that first down last weekend?

Aren't you the one ALWAYS posting about its the defense!! It's the defense!! Now you're saying we should have drafted an offensive player over a defensive end? Don't be a nudge.

Doubtful. Bortles made all 5 WRs at UCF into studs. Typically the QB makes the WR appear a little better than they are. Coopers 2nd year, he explodes.

See Bortles doesn't even need Hurns to throw 5 TDs. He's REALLY good

I live in an alternate universe in which we took Aaron Rodgers instead of Matt Jones in 2005 and JJ Watt instead of Blaine Gabbert in 2011.

We play in the Superbowl every year.

When you get into the endzone, act like you've been there before.
