Don't look now but Thomas has scored in 3 straight games

#1

Julius Thomas has scored 3 straight games all in the red zone (including his 21 yard score). A lot of us were calling for his head

At least he is doing something, let alone the something we brought him in to do.. score.

He's coming around nicely.

He needs to make more big plays and catch the ball consistently, but atleast he's scoring TD's. But I don't think you throw the type of money the Jaguars did at him and expect to get the minimal catches/yards/game he is posting.

I'd feel that way if we were starved for money. But we have the most cap room in the league (I could be wrong, but that was last I checked) and Julius is our third option behind Hurns and Robinson

With Robinson playing at an elite level, he is taking this offense over. Everybody else is just contributing. Hurts is playing at a high level as well, so this is why Thomas' numbers aren't as good.

Most importantly, the Manning effect.

He is better at TE than Lewis.

That's what we payed him for

You probably jinxed him, injury time..

JT is doing fine. If he can get a full season in w/o major injury next year- the whining will stop.

He's doing what's asked of him right now and that includes drawing coverage at times.

You do know that 21 yards is a a yard outside of the red zone...right?

That's what happens when you don't watch the games.

Yeah, that's why I mentioned it, before someone else did. As far as I'm concerned, it's the red zone. Because 21 yards to score is going to be as woeful for our offense as 20. So I've included that TD.

As long as he catches balls in the redzone/endzone I don't care if he catches anything else.

I'm with this. He was brought in as a RZ specialist mostly. If he gets 10 tds a year but that's all, fine by me
IT WAS ALWAYS THE JAGS
