Bortles will be a beast

Bortles keeps improving and will be an elite QB in the league. He is the best thing on this team this year and will only continue to improve. Imagine what he could do with a great offensive line around him and a competent coach. Excited about the future, even though we lost today.

Blake Bortles was named the NFL's "Most Improved Player" from one year to the next a few weeks ago. I truly believe it!

Did you see the part where Chris Simms talked about Bortles reducing the size of his windup to get the ball out quicker?

But how can this be? Numerous threads on this board have told me this guy is "teh suxorz" and the possibility of continued improvement from a young QB is lie propagated by the athletic-industrial complex and the NFL.

Bortles is the youngest QB in NFL history to have +320 yards 5TDs and 0 INTs in a single game

A-Rob is the youngest receiver in the last 35 years to have +10 receptions 150+ yards and 3 TDs in a game.

And bradley is the only HC who could possibly lose that game, when the opponent was a 2-9 team with a rookie Qb and an interim HC.

There is no reason to think that. We almost won the game. The reason we lost was obviously player errors, not bad play calling.

Jesus tapdancing Christ, every thread I see you saying whatever you can to defend Bradley.

Here are the facts - he is, what, 10-31 as a HC?

He was hired as a "defensive-minded" coach. His Defense is the easily the WORST in the league, for almost three years straight.

You say it's on the players, and if we had the right players the scheme would be fine.

That is the thing. We DON'T have the right players, therefore the scheme MUST be adapted to what you have. That is what good coaches do. Bradley does not do this.

Bradley, a defensive-minded head coach, NEVER has his defense ready to play four quarters of football and he NEVER adapts the defensive scheme to better suit his available talent pool nor his opponent.

He is a BAD head coach. It really is that simple.

Let's be honest, if we had scobee, we had a chance.

Scobee was the worst kicker in the NFL this year. Tomlin actually planned to not use him in OT against the Ravens.
