Anti-Islamic Group Protests in Front of Irving Mosque

Members of an anti-Islam group protested outside a mosque in Irving Saturday.

They were armed with guns and appeared in opposition to plans for Syrian refugees to be settled in the United States.

Instead of a sign that says "Do Not Disturb" I need one that says "Already Disturbed Proceed With Caution."

Sorry, anyone who shows up to a protest in camo gear, carrying a gun and then doesn't want his name used on the news I refuse to take seriously.

Oh, because that's going to make things better.

Dammit America, stop giving moderate Muslims reasons to hate us.

Protesting with a rifle is all show and is usually someone who's never used it nor would be willing.

My rifles remain locked up until it's time to clean, practice or kill. They're not for show they're not for making points.

I'm confused. Was this mosque bringing in Syrian refugees?

"The protest went off without incident."

Regardless of how you feel about the protest, this is a nice change for protest these days.

It's almost like the insanely overwhelmingly vast majority of Muslims in this country aren't out to undermine America and blow us all up.
