Should jags try him out.

The scouting report on him during draft was that he is a lazy guy.

"But he hasn’t had a sack this year, and has lost his starting job, with <a class="" href='http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/2054/calvin-pace'>Calvin Pace</a>and <a class="" href='http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/5075/leger-douzable'>Leger Douzable</a> filling those roles."

Now there's a name from the past!

I remember him being talked about as a possibility for the Jags pick in 2012.

Saw quite a few mocks with his name tied to Jax.

Interesting....

they just looked at DaQuan Bowers too...

but no news about any signings yet.... they are definitely going to leave no stone unturned trying to get the pass rush "home"

I think we should just stick with blitzing this year.

Bring Colvin, Smith, Poz, Cyp or Skuts, every play with the 4 Down.

was kind of a screwy pick for them.  The guy is a natural 4-3 end and they stood him up at linebacker .

Go Jags!
*To stay up for atleast 2 years 3/6/17
2016 draft players I think will be good
  • On the Fournette train, will be best back of his class 3/6/17
  • Lattimore please,  Lockdowns on both sides would be nice
  • Engram at TE and the MJD clone Samaje Perine

After Thursday night's game, how could you not be in favor of Alualu staying rostered

I think it would be worth a shot. Only 25 with some pass rush skill.

Was out of position in Jets defense this year. Put his hand in the dirt and see where it goes.

He's a better player than Branch and actually a year younger.

I remember him being a hot name a few years back. I would say absolutely try him out. The one position we could actually really use a fresh face.

I think Coples would be worth the gamble because he was miscast in the New York as a 3-4 OLB. Put him in the rotation behind Odrick at the strong side DE and I think he could be effective. That said, we're down a bit in the claim order and I bet some worse teams put in a claim.

I just looked up his size. I didn't realize he was that big. I guess he wouldn't be a leo candidate. Oh well.

With the lack of talent at the position right now I think he could some LEO, but he's likely a strong side end you're looking long term.

I'd take a shot on him. Why not? What do we have to lose? Our pass rush can stand to improve.

Please. Coples doesn't care at all and I saw this predraft. His tape against Syracuse or Mizzou, I believe, was absolutely disgusting. No effort, no will, no impact. What a waste.

Dave isn't looking his way at all.

Really, either way whether it be LEO or "Big" End. I still think they should bring in to kick the tires. They've done well taking these miscast players and getting something out of them. Sen'Derrick Marks!

You never know!

Seems to be an average player. Hasn't really performed to expectations since being drafted. Are we thinking of replacing Skuta or just adding depth?
