Another former beloved Jag turned scumbag is Clint Session. He still isn't paying child support for his special needs daughter that requires thousands per month in medical bills. He claims he's too broke to even afford a lawyer. I can't believe I cheered for this guy, I hope he rots in hell TBH.

I noticed Henderson's restaurant was closed and up for sale. Sorry to hear this.
Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Sorry to hear this. The reality is that many of these athletes have little to no competencies when it comes to managing finances- and financial literacy; and many of them have no "Plan B's" to fall back on in their lives if things don't work out. I would highly recommend that everyone watch the 30 for 30 documentary "Broke".
Most athletes have no business being in the restaurant business. Now Uche Nwaneiri has opened up the Anchor Down Bar and Grill in Atlanta. SMH>

I've never understood the allure of the restaurant business to those who have enjoyed a financial windfall. It's the last thing I would want to get involved in. Long hours, lots of work, constantly keeping up with regulations, employees.... Fuhgetaboutit.

Mark Brunell went broke buying fast food chains.
The ones who make it make it because they get involved with the day to day business. Customers are not coming to a famous athlete's restaurant because of great steaks or pasta. They come there with the hope of seeing said great athlete. Places like Don Shula's steakhouse, Stan Musial's, Harry Carays', et. al. are the exception, though they still must deliver a good product for a fair price or customers won't return. Leon and Andre's story was of your typical player who gets rich all of a sudden and has no idea how to handle his newly found wealth blowing it all in spectacular fashion. Throw in a pretty girl or two and its all gone. Here's the documentary for those who haven't seen it. It's probably the best of the 30 for 30 series featuring athletes from all sports. https://youtu.be/va2qj4Zv4QM
