Mixon and Foster pro days

#1

I figure since they are both today it would be better to just make one instead of two separate ones.

Quote:According to MMQB's Albert Breer there will be 24 teams (out of 32) ready to meet with Mixon around his Oklahoma pro day on Wednesday. It was previously reported he privately met with four teams Tuesday night (Lions, Bengals, Saints and Browns) and he'll meet with 20 more over the next few days.

35" Vertical. Decent for his weight.

Sorry, got distracted by people lacking reading comprehension in that other thread.

Mixon pro day on national women's day? Nice.

Not going to be surprise if he is the #2 or #3 running back taken. Think Cook scares teams more than Mixon

I'd say he'll run a 4.5 or so. Maybe a 4.48

4.40 is what one scout clocked him at.

Joe Mixon's forty times on first forty times clock 4.42s-to-4.46s depending on watch

4.37-4.41 are the times I'm getting for Mixon.

Well those are very not bad times.

Pro day times are always a bit faster , either way it confirms he more than enough speed.

Solid all around athleticism for him.  Polished runner too.  Probably the most pro-ready guy.  Unless he comes across as a complete idiot in his interviews, I think it's silly not to take him with our 2nd round pick.

I'm with ya. Pretty obvious by now that most teams have no issue with him.

I wonder if we'll find out if the Jags were one of the 24 teams in attendance.

Graham Barfield‏ @GrahamBarfield  10m10 minutes ago

At 228lbs, a 4.38-4.45 40-yard dash would imply between 98th and 93rd percentile weight-adjusted speed for Joe Mixon. Would lead 2017 class.

<div>Graham Barfield‏ @GrahamBarfield  1m1 minute ago

Joe Mixon leads the class in:

Yards Created/Att (vs 7 or fewer + inside-zone)

Missed Tackles Forced/Att

ReYds Gained/Route

Weight-adj speed

That's, uhh, pretty good.

And really, all the PR stuff is going to go away by Week 2 after he has a solid outing that first week.  What Tyreek Hill did was worse, but no one is picketing in front of Arrowhead Stadium about him.

Mixon is probably the closest thing to Fred Taylor there is in the draft.

Basically Same height and weight.

Mixon slightly slower than Fred, but better hands.

Speed, agility, power
