Ugh...

So Pierce sprained his Achilles in warm-ups before the game, and now Yeldon has a foot injury? Grant is already on IR, and Gerhart sucks so bad he's been inactive the past two weeks. If TJ is hurt bad, I guess it's all on DRob who nearly fumbled the ball this past Sunday.

Kendall Hunter can't get here fast enough.

Of note, I was thinking Banyard gets relegated to the practice squad in order to make room for Greene, but they probably need to keep him active now.

Then what was "unreal"

for those of us who don't interpret everything 'literally', the use of a term such as 'unreal' is a metaphor... go look it up in the dictionary. Therefore his use of the term in the sentence would have properly been understood as being equivalent to saying, 'oh my, while injuries are a part of the game, the rash of injuries occurring just recently seems excessive.

... there 'ya go mod.

Hey, universe, Jaguars fans calling. Can we please get a freaking break?

Let's pump the brakes and see how severe this thing is.  Hurns was in a boot this time last week, and he was on the field making plays yesterday.  Hopefully it's not a serious issue.  If it is, then we'll be forced to rely more heavily on our passing attack.  I'm more concerned about the Hurns injury at this point.

Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Have you read the Hurns thread yet? One doesn't fly to Philly for a second opinion on a hangnail...

Just saw that and edited my post.

Depending on the type of injury he's dealing with, it may be something he can play with if he's able to manage the discomfort.  Or, he'll have to have the surgery and he's potentially done for the year.  Again, like the Yeldon injury, until we know more...

Ditto. The team finally flashes a glimmer of hope, even if it was Elvis Dumervil who turned the lights back on for us, and we get bad injury news about three of our most important players the next day. Hopefully Yeldon is just precautionary and Hurns doesn't need surgery.

Even if Hurns needs surgery, odds are that it will not happen before the end of the season.  He's been playing with the hernia most of the season according to reports.  Unless this specialist says there's risk of further injury, I would expect to see him dressed and ready to go on Thursday night.

As far as Yeldon goes, hopefully it's nothing serious.  If it is, that sucks, but it's not the end of the world.  This team will live or die by the passing game from here on out.
