Khan's net worth increases to $5.6 billion; Jaguars now worth $1.46 billion.

Khan also scores a 10/10 on the Self-Made score. The product on the field doesn't match the worth, but financially Khan is straight-up ballin'.

$770 million; $620 million in cash as well as assuming the team's $150 million in debt.

  Absolutely.

Since that time,  the value of all 32 NFL franchises has increased substantially.   Shad Khan made a great investment in buying the Jacksonville Jaguars.    In the next few years,   the value of the franchise probably will exceed $ 2 billion.

I agree. But the London deal has helped as well. As the team stated, playing a game in London has made the team more financially stable in Jacksonville.

 Absolutely.

It's a given that as long as Shad Khan owns the Jaguars,  he's going to be proactive in the Jaguars playing a regular season game in London each season.   From the NFL's perspective,  it's a win-win situation as they clearly want to play more and more games in London and outside the U.S. in general.    I believe that the Bucs recently expressed interest in playing a game in the U.K. each season as well.

Damn it, I knew I should have bought the Jaguars. Another squandered investment opportunity.

Correcting what I previously mentioned,  the Bucs are at least publicly only looking to have the flexibility to play an additional ( 2nd ) home game outside Raymond James Stadium:

That stadium is in sad shape. I was surprised how bad it was when I was there last month.

They are hosting the college championship game after next season. They better hurry up with the upgrades.

Considering RJS opened in the latter part of the 1990's,  it's surprising how quickly that stadium has decayed.

Does this include the money he made on the secret deal to move the team to St Louis?

That stadium is so bad. It's funny how many people here in Tampa still think it's so good.

That's still 17 years with no major renovations in a time when stadium experiences around the league have improved in leaps and bounds. EverBank Field got its first renovations after just 8 years, and most stadiums get updates around the 12 year mark.

It isn't decay as much as there has been no upgrades since it has opened. That said, the Florida sun bleached out the color of the seats, which they have yet to replace, so even maintenance hasn't been what it should. The Glazers are cheap, though. They don't want to throw any money into that stadium. They want the taxpayers to pay for everything.

Based on everything you have seen upclose in the Tampa area with the Bucs,  what do you believe is the most likely outcome regarding the Bucs future in Tampa?    From a distance,  I get the impression that they might not remain in Tampa in the long run.

Regarding the Glazers,  my impression is they are willing to spend money on the Bucs team but they have made some decisions  ( Carl Nicks and Eric Wright come to mind )  that turned out badly.

While its been a few weeks since,  a belated Happy Birthday!

I thought the company that made the seats already admitted they screwed up and were going to replace them for no extra cost to the Bucs?

For the longest time, I would have said they are going nowhere. Now, I'm not so sure. Everyone knows the biggest issue in regards to teams looking to relocate is the stadium. Ray Jay isn't getting younger, and in my opinion, it will not be long before the Glazers are courting offers from other cities in an attempt to threaten Tampa. Hell, it's what they did to get the current stadium, with a sales tax increase, to boot.

And thank you for the birthday wishes, hope all is well with you.

I remember something of the sort, but that was years ago and the seats are still faded, so I'm not really sure what happened. Maybe they're replacing them a bit at a time? Some sections seem less faded than others.
