What position should the jags pick in next years first round?

#1

our biggest issue is the pass rush

personally I would have taken amari cooper because he's most the sure thing I've seen that I can look at and say "yeah, that guys gonna be an elite player very very soon at the next level"

not to mention, hurns, robinson, cooper, JT.. can I get an amen?

but alas, that didn't happen.

personally I'd take a corner

Really?  Corner back?  But that's not even our weakest area on D...  Why would you go corner?

I think in terms of weakest groups on D,  it goes Pass rusher, then Free Safety, and then Strong Safety.  I'm a bit down on Cyprien, and I'm not sure about Sample.

Personally, I would go pass rusher.  Imagine if we hit on Pass Rush this draft and Fowler comes back and lights it up too...  We'd be feared in the NFL...

Pass rushing DE, but Bosa will almost certainly be off the board and I don't see another pass rushing D-lineman that I like in the first round unless it's Buckner and I believe we may be drafting too high for him

Currently really like Jaylon Smith. Believe he could play either SLB or MLB

Free safety like Jalen Ramsey or if he's gone then Bosa. But Bosa should be gone before Ramsey.

You dont just draft need.  You take BPA with need mixed in.

1. Bosa

2. Hargreaves

3. Ramsey/Smith

1. Myles Jack

2. Shaq Lawson

3. Jaylon Smith

4. Reggie Ragland

All the ones mentioned so far, I think they will be gone when we pick. No order here. Just throwing out some names.

I think we should really consider trading up. If Bosa is the real deal, trading up could transform the look of our defense. Fowler, Bosa, and a top tier DL.

I think it should be considered since a formidable D-Line will bolster our secondary. Sacks, hurries, and interceptions are at a minimum. This is a next level acquisition. This is all if Caldwell thinks Bosa is the guy.

Of course someone will say I'm stupid for dreaming, but hey, I'm talking about what I love: football

We will definitely win a few garabage games down the stretch and screw up our draft pick position

DE, OL, FS

All of these are gaping holes.
Only a chump boos the home team!

Depends on free agency, but pass rush is the biggest need by far.

We could stand more talent on every level of the defense.

I would not be opposed to another DE and a DT, at least one LB, and at least one or two DBs.

I thought Cyprien actually had a really good game against the Jets, but sadly, he has been inconsistent here.

If we can just get one or two more difference makers on defense, this team can start making some noise.

Apparently, you're not the only one that thought Cyp had a good game against the Jets...  I might need to go back and re-watch the D.

Anything but pass rush would make no sense unless the position was deep and we could get a good one in the second. I doubt we would draft a corner in the first when we literally get no pressure on the QB. On offense it will be an OL most likely a guard.

I'd go Bosa then Hargreaves.

Jags will trade all of their draft picks to NE for their Head Coach and Gotskowski
