What's up with this dude? He should be lighting it up with Burns and Arob getting all the attention.

Such a disappointment.

Is he a product of Manning? Probably.

Yup, he should be running deep routes up the middle, but nothing.  lol

He runs slow because money is weighing him down. He wasn't making the money in Denver so he was faster.

Question GM, not JT.

Peyton Manning of a couple of years ago would make nic jacobs, clay harbor look like pro bowlers.

I'm sure Manning helped, but the dude just seems out of shape. looks overweight and doesn't seem to give 100%

Pretty sad Marcedes Lewis had a bigger impact on the game than JT

He is a product of Manning, D. Thomas, Eddie Royal and Co.

Opposing defenses had too many players to check when he was in Denver.

Not saying he can't produce like he did.... I certainly hope he does because I can't take another F/A bust....

We don't seem to utilize him very well. I'd expect to see him running up the seam more. Might just take time for Player and Coach/coordinator to get on the same page

I hope JT is playing hurt, cause he looked really bad vs the Jets. I'm becoming skeptical of his work ethic.

He looked pretty decent pre-injury.  We know the hand was worse than originally reported.  I'm hoping that has something to do with it and we'll see a better version of him next season or late into this season.  It doesn't look good, but if there is any hope, it would be that.

He is on pace to make the Jerry Porter deal look good.

I was thinking this but his hand should not prevent his ability to run...

Unless he is holding back - which then points to his work ethic...

I hope it's just a slump because his first game back had a pretty nice stat line - 7 catches/78 yards/1 TD.

Someone mentioned he looked "chubby" in another thread. I remember watching an after game locker room video and you got gus in the middle and all these dudes with six packs and big arms and Julius was there in the frame and I'm thinking, "why does he look out of shape." Not to mention the look he had gave a "I'm here because I have to be" look. Like he just wasn't into it.

A TE like Thomas should be a Grade A safety valve for BB5. Is he playing pelt or not being used properly? I don't know, but he needs to get more involved
