Maybe buzz isn't the right word but I think it's noteworthy that they were mentioned. And I'm guessing this will warrant one heck of a discussion.

It certainly does, even at his advanced age and his injury history, this would be a signing that would not only rejuvenate a beleaguered fan base, but would legitimately put the Jags into contender status in the AFC

I define it as "doo-doo butter".

I do wish we were getting him though.

As long as he doesn't land with the Texans I'm good

So we should pay him a boat load of money, just to watch him get hurt in the first quarter of the first game?  Then watch Bortles the rest of the season...makes sense to me.

Have you seen my baseball?

Yeah well...It's pretty much a hypothetical thread.

He's gotten hit twice in the last two seasons.  Guess what happened both times?  A surgically repaired back is nothing to mess with, in a normal person's life.  I, personally, think he's an idiot for even trying to play.

It said that "others" mentioned them.  Who the hell are others?

Is not every offseason thread on this board (prior to free agency and the draft) "hypothetical" threads? Seeing how nothing has actually happened yet?

lol, exactly.  So why point out my hypotheticals?

If you don't want to defend our Back-to-Back Offseason Championships then just go ahead and sit back and let someone else jump in and take the trophy away from us.  We need to go get Romo, Adrian Peterson, and Revis.  We could have 2 lock hall of famers and no longer have to wait for Boselli to represent the Jags.
