Looks like Gus realized that promoting accountability by promoting a guy who tackles receivers while the ball's in the air might have been a mistake.

Whatever happened to McCray? That's been the quietest demotion on the heels of a good season that I can remember.

all three of these guys are interchangeable imo. all average at best.  im not really worried about who plays where.  all the DBs need to play well. not one of them is a sure bet against a threatening WR. my advice would be for fans and media to stop obesessing over who plays where.  you cant control it. just watch the game.

I also believe something close to resembling a pass rush would make them all instantly look *above* average.

 

No corner can cover WRs forever, no matter how good you are.  With today's rules, everyone gets open in time with a clean pocket.

Doesn't this exactly counter the thought that Gus has admitted he was wrong?

 

In fact I wouldn't be surprised if he said, we've seen a lot of good things from Gratz.  He made a few mistakes but we believe in the process that he can correct those things.  He will remain a starter.

 

 

Wait, isn't that the same situation with House but the whole world thinks House can make plays and is starting quality?  House > Gratz.

 

Hopkins > almost every other wide receiver in the world right now.
