Who are the "worst" fans in the NFL?

#1

By "worst" I don't necessarily mean in lack of fan support for their team, but being obnoxious, rude, and getting into fan fights at games for instance.

Just look at the main forum.

In my personal experience the visiting fans to Everbank that have consistently over the years been complete [BLEEP] wads are Miami fans.

I think it is any group of fans that think they deserve a win. I remember Bears fans a few years ago being obnoxious when we went into the half tied at 3 (or something close, we ended up losing by a ton). We stunk but were playing well. They couldn't handle it and were picking fights. 3 times security came up to my section. One Bears fan called a woman the "c word" while standing right next to my 4 year old.

My father, who is near Pittsburgh and Cleveland is always amazed that I can take my kids to games without there being many issues. Everbank is such a nice place to watch a game. More often than not, no issues arise.

Every team's fan base has bad eggs. Which one has the most bad eggs is the question.

The worst fans I ever saw on TV were the bottle throwers in Cleveland. Otherwise, Browns fans are not too bad.

Cowboys fans are some of the worst I have ever been around.

I have been very fortunate in that the visiting fans that have been around me over the years have been good.

I have seen different disturbances and their indicia at various points.

It seems like Steelers fans and Eagles fans have had the most disturbances in the stadium.

Worst to 1st.  Curse Reversed!

Ugh, I hate Cowboys fans. Reason being they can't tell me why they like the team. "Everything." "They're my mom's team." "They're America's team." What do they actually LIKE about the Cowboys?

Just from my own personal experience at games:

1. Steelers fans

2. Cowboys fans

3. Jets fans

Steelers fans account for half of the attendance in Paul Brown Stadium in Cincy. I've been to a few of those Bengals/Steelers games. There are alot, ALOT, of obnoxious Pittsburgh fans at those games. Of course, there are quite a few decent fans too.

Cowboys fans were really obnoxious,, as were Jets fans.

On the flip side,, Redskins fans were very cool to me as I have been there a couple times as an opponent's fan. I've never had any issue there.

I haven't had the chance to experience Eagles fans yet. I've always heard their reputation is terrible.

Reports about what Eagles fans did years ago:

1. Booed Donovan McNabb when he was drafted because they wanted Ricky Williams.

2. Harassed Doug Pederson because they could not wait to see McNabb play instead.

3. Cheered when Michael Irvin injured his spine because they wanted him out of the game.

No wonder Eagles fans have a bad reputation.

In my experience, Steelers fans are horrible. I was at a Browns game where it was deathly cold. Some drunk Steelers fan launched two full beers into the family section, laughing the whole time. Some fans took liberties before security could get to him.

That was the worst but they are generally just giant [BLEEP].

I think the Browns have to be classified as the best and worst fans. On one hand, they are extremely loyal. I mean as bad as we have been for awhile, we have still had more to cheer for than the Browns. However, you do not even want to be a road fan at a Browns game. I was at a winter game once and the fans were throwing snowballs at anything Jaguars the whole game. The players and fans alike. I even saw little kids getting pelted with snowballs a couple of times. Truly despicable fans.

There was a story a few years back of a little kid being tackled after a game by a drunken Browns fan for wearing a Lebron jersey, or something like that.

I remember hearing that the Eagles fans visiting Jacksonville in 2005 for the SB were said to have been very disrespectful. Can anyone else confirm that?

I have just had too many negative encounters with philly fans visiting nyc for games and I also remember them cheering Michael Irvin's career ending injury in Philly. Classless.

Then there's the time they booed and threw snowballs at Santa.
