Lee is looking very bad. I think it's best to send him to IR because he is Walters has been playing great as well as our Allens. Let Lee it out the rest of the year and the offseason and put the end to his hamstring problems. If he rests it for months on end he should be healthy to play next year.

I think I remember hearing "one more setback" would likely send him to IR.

 

They've given him plenty of time to heal. They'll probably work him light leading into the game after the BYE. He'll have to be able to go in that game pretty close to full I imagine to keep the roster spot.

Another player I'm OK moving on from, at least in the short term.

Cuz Cann did better against those guys than Beadles did VS the other DE/DTs

Cann seems pretty good. Linder, Cann and Parnell are locks for next year on the line. If Joeckel can keep improving we'll have 4 young good starters - if Wiz is cheap I'd keep him around too.

The punting game is awful. We bang it straight down the middle of the field for 40 yards far too often allowing the other team to get an easy 10+ yard return. Gene Smith really was a clown for drafting Anger.

The punting game is awful. We bang it straight down the middle of the field for 40 yards far too often allowing the other team to get an easy 10+ yard return. Gene Smith really was a clown for drafting Anger.

 

Anger is a cyst from the Gene Smith era that just needs to be cut out of the organization. I find it hard to believe we cant find someone equivalent in the off-season to replace him.

As far as Anger goes, I remember Matt Turk and I understand we can do a lot worse. I'm in no rush to replace him. He's very streaky, though.
