The Blitz vs the zone for this defense

(This post was last modified: 10-26-2015, 11:34 PM by jaguarmvp.)

For the first time all season the Jacksonville defense was aggressive and created multiple turnovers in a game.  As soon as the team made a few plays they for some odd reason went back to that soft zone rushing 4.

I don't know if the team was playing not to lose or Babich had one page of blitz packages because after that run of turnovers the defense went soft again.  This almost cost us the game.

Of course with the blitz you live or die by the gun. We will get beat deep but the flip side is making the other team make a crucial mistake.

It's clear as day this defensive line is not good enough to consistently get to the QB.  Please explain to me why this team is not sending 5 or 6 on every passing down?

Bad teams turtle it up when they get leads because they're not used to winning, so they aren't familiar on how to play a game with the lead. The Jaguars are a bad team.

THERE IS A SKELETON INSIDE OF YOU.

RIGHT NOW. THIS IS NOT A JOKE.

On the radio they said we continued to blitz in the 2nd half but Buffalo adjusted to it.

They scored their 1st TDs on man coverage with an extra rusher.

What if I told you, that you can do both in the same play?

In fact Jaguars run a Zone 3 Coverage Blitz play in almost every game under HC Gus Bradley.
