I'm shocked. I figured all along he had at least 2-3 more years after that crazy extension they gave him.

Not surprising. My guess is they go with a "Miami guy" like Mario Cristobal or Rob Chudzinski.

It had to be done.
Respect the game.  Play with a sense of urgency.

1.)  Take care of the ball.  Win the turnover battle.

2.)  It's all about 3rd down.  Win on 3rd down to win the game.

3.) Playmakers make plays.  The only reason that you put your uniform on is to make plays. In order to EARN your paycheck, you must make plays.

Learn from the great collapse of 2023.

The only thing that made 58-0 tolerable was Golden getting canned and that stink bomb FSU laid on primetime TV Saturday night. :woot:

Lane Kiffin will be the next Head Coach at Miami.

They will also get calls from South Carolina, Maryland and other schools with openings and alot more money to spend than Miami does.

Possibly. I only left them off because I think they could go for a bigger name.

Don't be deceived. ....Miami has plenty of money. They just chose to be cheap in the past because Shalala didn't care about football.

With the amount of heat down there now, and a new Prez, who by all accounts isn't cool with mediocrity, expect them to pony up for a great coach

Don't be lazy and run with the "they don't have money" argument

Money is an issue at Miami. It is going to be an issue when hiring a new coach. Everybody knows this, except rocdee apparently.

Money is no issue.

I implore you to research

No amount of snide remarks will change the fact

Think man...there running renovations down there to athletic facilities that are approaching 9 figures

Research and get back to me

Perhaps you are privy to information that nobody else is privy to. But I doubt it.

I get it. You're a Miami fan and probably want to think you can get any candidate you want. But you are just setting yourself up for a letdown. When a coach is hired in a month and a half or so, you will likely be disappointed.

So Miami just has loads and loads of money, yet their facilities suck, don't even have their own stadium, and their coach was just barely making over $2 mil a year.
