I'm all ears. I've been a season ticket holder since the Byron Leftwich draft, and will continue to renew my tickets. With that said, I just can't agree with the notion that we are a talented team with bad coaching. We are a minimally talented team with bad coaching. 

 

Who are some viable options? The Lions? Megatron alone puts them pretty high. Not to mention, key pieces like Ansah and Levy on defense aren't comparable. How about the Buccaneers? They have pieces like Mike Evans, Gerald McCoy, LaVonte David, and Doug Martin that surpass anything we have. Even the measly Raiders have booming stars like Khalil Mack and (soon to be) Amari Cooper.

Miami is actually supremely talented. Their defense alone puts them miles ahead of us. Cameron Wake is an elite pass rusher, Nndamukong Suh is the best DT in football, Brent Grimes is a shutdown corner, and Reshad Jones is showing himself to be one of the top safeties in the game. Even offensively, I would take Tannehill over Bortles. They have a stout offensive line with Branden Albert, JaWuan James, and Mike Pouncey. That blows anything we have.

So Grimes isn't a shutdown corner? Suh isn't the best defensive tackle in football? Rashad Jones isn't a solid safety? 

 

Be specific. Show me how the Jaguars are objectively more talented than the Dolphins (or any team of your choosing).

I think we're still one of the least talented teams in the league.  I think our talent is on par with Oakland, Houston, Tampa Bay, Tennessee, and Cleveland.  Throw in the fact that we've lost by 7 to Tampa Bay (not that close) and 11 to Houston (not that close either), how can we say that we're more talented than they are?

I think if you are talking defense then yeah we are definitely near the bottom if not the least talented team. On offense on a talent aspect we are actually quite good since most players are still on the rise instead of a lot of other teams where they already peaked.
