How hurt is Bortles?

#1

Looked like he was in a lot of pain the second half of that game. Grimmacing every time he threw the ball. Not a pretty game but I still think he's making progress plus Yeldon coming back will help him out a lot. Granted, he still has to make better decisions and we have to do more to protect him.

He'll be fine as long as we stop asking him to throw 50+ times a game and run for his life

His arm is starting to fall off already early in the season.  He needs to go make an appointment with his throwing mechanics coach again.

Had the AC joint sprain, while mild, still painful, and he threw the ball ALOT today.

We're trying to open the run by airing it out when it should be the opposite. Poor Bortles

Agreed.  Since when was our offense THAT good.  We have a young explosive core if they grow quickly and build elite level precision together.  No running game though, Well....we just saw what happens.

Oh and Defense wasn't horrid giving up 24 but still O  M  G

Season Tix, Section 409

2023 and still counting.....SB will finally be ours soon enough.

We have no running game and they were getting pressure constantly. Bortles made some bad mistakes but still played well overall. Can't expect much more with the help he got. There was a rusher in the backfield almost every play it seems and he ended up as the leading rusher.
