First Democrat Debate on CNN

#1

Anyone going to watch this train wreck live?  I personally will record it and attempt to stay awake while watching it.

If this wasn't happening during the week when I and most people have to work the next day, I would make it a drinking game.  Any time the following phrases are said, you must drink.

"Fair Share"

"Corporations"

"Free"

I do know that if I was playing the game under those rules, I would be hammered 15 min into the debate.

There are 10 kinds of people in this world.  Those who understand binary and those who don't.

I sat through Donald Trump and Ben Carson twice, so it seems only fair that I waste an evening on Clinton and Sanders.

I'll be watching. Watched 10 mins of the Republican debate before I came to my senses.

Politics is so so so different here.

Not really I can't vote for any of them so what's the point?

It's to be Fair & Balanced.

I will probably watch it but it wont be nearly as entertaining as watching Donald Trump talk.

You ought to be open-minded, though.

I'm going to try to watch it.

These debates alternate between boring and aggravating.   Politicians on stage giving simplistic answers to complicated questions.   Misleading, evading, distorting the opponent's position.   I often ask myself, how stupid does the average voter need to be to believe this crap?   From both sides.

Watching socialist debate on who is less of socialist has nothing to do with being open minded. I fundamentally disagree with their entire platform, our premises are polar opposites so the policies are not going to align.

The one exception is probalby foreign policy at least Sanders is more of a non-interventionist but his domestic socialism makes it impossible for me to support him.

Yes, I understand, but to say, "I'm not going to listen to them because I disagree with them" seems kind of fearful to me, as if you are afraid you might wind up changing your mind somewhat.

This is going to be so cringeworthy. I am going to listen to it in the background.

I loathe CNN

just read an article this morning about how Cooper and the station will not draft questions designed to pit the candidates against each other.

funny how they did the exact opposite in the GOP debate that they had. they purposely designed questions to have the candidates attack each other.

I always knew that they were liberal, and didn't ever buy their "we're balanced" shtick, but they're not even trying to hide it now

Woosh.

I know which side of the party line you reside with, which is why I stated the "motto" of Fox News.

My prediction:

There will be lots of talk about issues. Little to no inter candidate attacks. Little to no bombast or outrageous comments. The right will mock it because reasons as has already started.

I would really like to see Bernie explain how he plans to pay for his ideas.  I don't think it will happen and I'm not a fan of socialism.  This is a bad election year not much quality from both parties

Go Jags!
*To stay up for atleast 2 years 3/6/17
2016 draft players I think will be good
  • On the Fournette train, will be best back of his class 3/6/17
  • Lattimore please,  Lockdowns on both sides would be nice
  • Engram at TE and the MJD clone Samaje Perine

I can tell you that now. He's gonna say we need to tax corporations like they used to be taxed in this country.

Pretty much. The only way to do it is tax increases on corporations and individuals.
