For those who traveled to Tampa
|
The Good
Huge crowd. Made plenty of noise. Nice meeting fellow fans at a road game. Tampa Tribune gave a nice shoutout to " Jacksonville Caravan" The Bad BCB tailgate crew was overwhelmed. Line ups for beer and food were waaaay too long. The Bucs lost 11 previous home games. Last win Dec 8, 2013. It's been 26 games since the Bucs scored 38 points..again in 2013 where they posted 41. Jags..12th consecutive losses on the road Point being..Fans , particularly those who travel to road games, but not excluding season ticket holders, local fans and out of town fans, deserve much better than this. Two losses that should have been wins are inexcusable. The friggin Bucs were the worst team in the NFL last year for crissakes! Hats off to the few thousand Jag fans who tried to rally the team. The team doesn't deserve it, sadly.

Quote:The Good It was my first NFL game so I have no concept for what is and isn't good. I was disappointed with the loss, but the offense was in sync and made the game entertaining for 60 minutes. Grant's fumble was demoralizing, as was getting run over by Doug Martin and Charles Sims III every drive. That said, I hope to make it to a home game based on this game alone.
We had a great time, save the loss. The beer lines actually moved pretty fast I thought. I never planned on the food so didn't bother me. We had club seats and didn't know it until we got there. Jags fans represented hard core! Too bad we couldn't "Duuuuuuvaaaaaaalllll" our way out of the stadium.

Quote:BCB tailgate crew was overwhelmed. Line ups for beer and food were waaaay too long. What was the beer arrangement? How many running kegs ? I don't think I'd ever depend on someone else to supply alcohol for my tailgate. I'm way to insecure to not be in control of the key ingredient. ![]()
How was the Tampa stadium in comparison to Everbank?
Worst to 1st. Curse Reversed!
It's okay. I'm speaking from a few years back. Always had fun on those trips and the fans were fun to banter with. Our stadium is much more impressive from a visual stand point.
Quote:How was the Tampa stadium in comparison to Everbank? I think Everbank is better but I'm obviously biased. I've been to about 150 games there. RJ is cool, easy to get in and out, get beers and food, etc. From a fan's perspective, it was fairly calm compared to us. We are way louder IMO

Stopped reading after looking at the headline and last sentence of the first paragraph. Quote:This guy doesn't know the difference between your and you're. Stopped reading after looking at the headline and last sentence of the first paragraph.Lol well, it IS Big Cat Country. I'm surprised you even got that far before you stopped reading. Yall havent given enough to the Jaguars. They've taken away a home game, and haven't been relevant for a decade now, how dare you complain about this poo storm!!
Yea man I went and had a lot of fun. Props to every fan that went we had it rocking. I must say there stadium and game day experience is real wack compared to ours.

I strongly recommend an end seat in the front row of SheiKra.
"Why should I give information to you when all you want to do is find something wrong with it?"
As a Jag season ticket holder for far too long thanks to all who went...true fans
The pirate ship is cool, but it causes a cluster piss around the rest rooms and concessions. The sound system is horrible. The screens..well there is no comparison.
The fans are like us. Win one game and it's like a Super Bowl win. Again, the amount of fans that travelled was impressive, and running into each other at Cigar City Brewing and Ybor city was a lot of fun...we all deserve better. The Bernard Pierce block describes this team so far.

I'd also like to add that I'm not a very big fan of the cannon. I know it's a fun thing for the home crowd, but man... I found it extremely annoying.
Quote:Didn't you guys read the Big Cat Country article? You didn't get that was supposed to be satire? Not surprising.
Quote:How was the Tampa stadium in comparison to Everbank? Not even close. Very outdated. Sound system was probably the worst I have heard in an NFL stadium. At no point in the game could you understand what the referee was saying. Most of the Bucs fans I talked to about it said the stadium was built around the same time as Everbank but has never been given any upgrades. |
