Play clocks at Met Life Stadium

#1

When Colin Kaepernick called timeout with two seconds left in the third quarter, Al MIchaels and Cris Collinsworth agreed it was a waste because there was more time left on the play clock. They explained he did not look at the right clock, pointing out there are two play clocks at each end: one next to the game clock and another near field level. Why does the stadium have two play clocks? I don't recall seeing that before in other stadiums. Then again Michaels is the best in the business and pays more attention to the little details when teams call timeouts.

Might and I'm just winging it. A clock for other sporting events?
