One positive thing was that we managed to keep Brady off the field for a good part of the first half so the offense wasn't doing a bad job with a couple of good drives.

That's why that Bortles pick was thrown at the worst possible time (terrible play and decision), we just got back the ball, just had the two minutes warning and we were 1st and 10 on NE 45ys with still 3 timeouts left. 

If played properly Brady shouldn't have been back till the second half and allowing NE only 13 points would have been a nice achievement.

We've gone cheap on coaches who were pretty much rookies coming out of the gate.

 

There's something to be said about the intellect of coaches attempting to outsmart each other.
