When Gus get fired, Dave needs to get fired too. He hired Gus and drafted this lack luster team. Skipped elite talent like Mack and Cooper. He has had a few good picks but when you look at it as a whole Caldwell has not drafted well at all for this team. When you best draft picks is a guard you are not going to get very far. Dave is better than Gene ever was but he is still a bottom of the league GM untill proven otherwise. The Raiders have even out drafted us the since Dave has been here

We could've had Mack and Carr (Carr was with us at the Senior Bowl) and drafted Cooper this year (or even Fowler still) and been far better off just like the Raiders. Instead it's looking like we drafted the next top 3 QB bust.

There are obviously several thing wrong with this team, but one of then is injuries. Of course there is no way to know for sure, but I think this game would have been significantly closer with a healthy Julius Thomas and Senderrick Marks. Also, what shouldn't be lost is that we played a really good team, on the road today.
