If the Jags didn't have such bad luck..

Blackmon would be here, no need to explain how much of a play maker he was

Fowler would be on the field and most likely playing well

Marks would be doing the same

Julius Thomas would be healthy and most definitely helping out our offense

Joeckel would be there (even though Young played like a stud last week

D Rob would be healthy, even furthering our success

And I'm sure there's more to name. I'm not one to dwell but we have been rather unlucky as of late. Just imagine this team without these missing components (especially JB) Hey.... a guy can dream right?

So, was there a point to you bringing up all the horrible things that we've experienced recently, or are you just a glutton for pain?

If we didn't have such bad luck:

We would've won the super-bowl if the tacks didn't cheat

Tom Coughlin would've been the NYG coach and got us two SB's with multiple winning seasons

Tony Boseli wouldn't have gotten hurt

MJD would still be here and wouldn't have declined so fast

Gabbert would've never happened

Gene Smith would've had a brain

Garrard wouldn't have had a back injury

The list could go on...

Look at what we are lucky to have:

Up and coming young team that has so much potential

Franchise QB

VERY good players that WILL be back from injury

Awesome owner

Our cap situation is perfect

We can get even more FA's at JT's caliber

Division is wide open for grabs and a potential play-off appearance with it

Things look pretty good right now.

Well, I think a dose of good old-fashioned luck certainly could do wonders for this team. If they somehow get A LOT of luck and beat the patriots* this Sunday, all those negatives you listed will have become a distant memory.

1996 and 1999 we hardly had any injuries. Funny how that works.

If only Gene Smith drafted JJ Watt and Russell Wilson instead of Blaine Gabbert and a punter.

I really don't think Blackmon was all that great.

If the Jags didn't have such bad luck...

They won't be ranked by the NFL's official site as it's 18th team

They won't have beaten a playoffs-touted Miami team that toyed with them last year

They won't be plugging remarkable depth ceaselessly and still competing

They'd have much, much less inferior-complexed fans petrified to consider their team simply on par

They'd have dumb unfootballed PhD/MD followers who believe the team is built, by virtue of their fortitude in dire injury situations, and as unexpectedly, yet most tellingly, announced by its coach

The forum is underwhelming, mostly due to assumed knowledge on matters beyond capacity...quite wayward, and tacky really, but expected

Bortles may have smarts and moxie

He won't shudder if told a poll of profs in college granted him 9 out of 10

Oh the irony of his comment, and whom it irritated

Keep grinding fellows

Go Jaguars

Success is a journey, not a destination.  Go all out Mighty Jaguars.

If grandma had balls, she would be grandpa.

I am not concerned with "ifs". It sucks but you deal with it. Players get injured.

So true Truck......

It's what you do with what you have.

it seems as the players in this game get faster, bigger and stronger .....they getting hurt more and more.

No surprise there.
