I know he isn't a world beater; but since he was released by the redskins and we have some holes at DB, should we take a look?  im not saying put him top 3 in the depth chart at DB, but we have holes and we could get him for a cheap prove it deal.  Let me know what you think, but don't give me too much gripe about it if you disagree lol.

David Amerson has the type of size the Jaguars put high emphasis on at CB.    At the very least,   I think the Jags brass will have a serious discussion about whether to claim Amerson off waivers.   And if he clears waivers,  to consider offering him a Practice Squad contract.

Our holes at DB are injury related, and most of the injured guys are not so seriously injured that they're going to be missing for very long, so I don't see the team pursuing him to take up a roster spot.  PS spot?  Maybe.

Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

i was thinking PS.  I mean, i would rather put in Amerson than Peyton Thomas if we need a quick in-game replacement.  I understand our DBs are good quality depth and probably the deepest on this roster, but we need a suitable upgrade with real game experience in my opinion.

If David Amerson clears waivers,    the decision for the Jags could come down to the upside of Amerson vs.  the familiarity in the Jags Defensive system that Peyton Thompson has.    If the Jags need a CB on short notice because of an injury,    Thompson would seem better equipped to handle the assignments.   But Amerson could be part of a long term solution if his issues are technique and/ or confidence oriented.
